How does working in our department look like?

Working at our catering department entails something more than just meal preparation. We create a synched team which aims at providing services of highest quality to our customers. As far as structure at our kitchens is concerned, it looks like this: Food service worker answers to the cook who answers to the kitchen Chief/shift Chief. The latter two work directly for Facility Manager who answers to Regional Manager.

Production Manager

While working the production manager position you are responsible for the whole production proces, it is a very crucial position which requires adequate experience. You hold responsibility for planning, coordinating and supervising production processes in the kitchen as a whole, both warm and cold one. You pay utmost attention to the production taking place according to its schedule, while preserving proper standards of quality, efficiency and safety. You manage the team of employees, you optimize processes, you control resources and cooperate with other departments so as to ensure fluent and profitable production.

Your obligations will be as follows:

  • Production management – planning, organising and supervising day-to-day production activity
  • Team management – training, supervising and motivating employees
  • Quality control – monitoring quality and hygiene standards, controlling raw materials and finished products
  • Resources management – controling inventory and cooperating with suppliers
  • Optimising processes – identifying and implementing production improvements
  • Safety – following occupational health and safety regulations as well as sanitary and hygenic standards

Cook

As cook, you will be responsible for preparing healthy and balanced meals adapted to various dietary needs of patients. If you are passionate about cooking and want to develop your skills in professional environment, this job is for you!

Your obligations will be as follows:

  • Preparing meals in accordance with diets of the patients
  • Controling quality of the products
  • Maintaining hygiene in the kitchen
  • Supervising employees
  • Fullfilling contractual norms (meal delivered on time)

Food service worker

The role of food service worker is a perfect occasion to learn from the best. You will support cooks in preparing ingredients, maintaining cleannes in the kitchen and performing other supporting tasks. This position is perfect for those who want to begin their career in gastronomy.

Your obligations will be as follows:

  • Preliminary processing of fruits and vegetables
  • Helping/working in the washing-room
  • Working cold tables (sandwiches, raw salads)
  • Portioning meals according to specification
  • Washing and disinfecting carts and gastronomy equipment
  • Maintaining order in the kitchen

Distributing meals to hospital wards

When working in distributing meals to hospital wards, you will be responsible for providing patients with correctly balanced meals which will be prepared earlier, in accordance with dietary instructions, by our cooks and food service workers. You pay attention to the fact that food reaches right patients in the right time, taking into account their health needs and dietary preferences. If you like contact with people then this job will bring you pure satisfaction!

Your obligations will be as follows:

  • Delivering meals, in accordance with diets, directly to the patient
  • Looking after the cleaness of carts, trays and crockery
  • Ensuring the adequate hygenic conditions during transport and distribution of meals.

Foreman

By taking up a position of foreman in both warm and cold kitchen, you are primarily coordinating the work of your team. You are also responsible for supervising the flow of meals, looking after their compliance with dietary instructions and hygenic standards. You ensure that the work goes smoothly and that meals are delivered on time. You have experience and like to control everything? Try your hand at such a role.

Your obligations will be as follows:

  • Supervising the work of your team
  • Preparing the meals
  • Controlling the quality and hygene
  • Looking after the compliance with the patients’ diets
  • Managing resources
  • Teaching/training new employees
  • Planning work schedules
  • Organising meal preparation

Warehouse worker

Dear warehouse worker! In our kitchen you are responsible for accepting, storing and handing out groceries and other materials necessary for meal preparation. You have to pay attention to providing proper conditions for storing, controlling inventories, monitoring use by/best before dates and cooperating with suppliers and kitchen staff in order to ensure continuity of deliveries and compliance with hygienic standards while keeping in mind HACCP rules!

Your obligations will be as follows:

  • Accepting and verifying deliveries
  • Putting goods in warehouses
  • Monitoring use by/best before dates
  • Handing out goods to kitchens
  • Supplying day-warehouses
  • Placing orders
  • Paying attenttion to order and following all HACCP rules
  • Keeping inventory

Driver

Your role as a driver is crucial to our mission of delivering food to our customers. You are the reason why our meals reach those who need them on time. Your responsibility and commitment directly influence their health and comfort. You are an important element without which it would not be possible for the whole operations to function.

Your obligations will be as follows:

  • Packing meals to termoports
  • Packing termoports to a delivery car
  • Transporting them to hospitals within an adequate time-frame
  • Unpacking meals to hospital wards
  • Cooperating both with kitchen staff and external customer
  • Maintaining order in the car and keeping it running
